Hello followers of the Zennist. Presently I am in Emory hospital in Atlanta Georgia. I suffered a stroke which has affected my right side, both leg and hand. I had a stroke on Monday March 2nd and I’m sorry I can’t put another blog out. I’m hoping one day to return to the blog and carry-on and to complete my book “The Secret of Zen”, in the event that I don’t or I can’t, I wish you all the best and much appreciate your enthusiasm for Zen Buddhism, trying to keep this religion together with its mystical approach. In my absence my students Andy Matson, Bao Tran, Joshua Ananda and more will make contributions to the Zennist.

Following your blog for almost a decade... Thank you for all you did to help advance people's understanding of Zen worldwide. I hope you get well soon.

Zenmar,
I was a student/correspondent of the late, great V. MZS over a period of 20 years. During that time I became an appreciator of your work.
Those of us who know, know.
