Zazen was the catalyst for my awareness. Of course it is a ritual- so is our cup of tea in the morning, and the manner in which we put on our clothes. Just being a ritual does not mean any of these are mindless activities, or that they are merely symbolic. Everything we do is a source of wisdom, if we are Mindful, in the big sense.

Zazen is just practice at keeping a clear mind. You are right that you cannot condition yourself into awakening, it is just something that happens, something that clicks. But to have a clear mind is necessary. Zazen has been for many- even the Buddha- a practical way of maintaining a welcoming mind.

Azanshi you once wrote me in an e-mail that "your siddhi powers told you I am Slovenian", and now your siddhi powers are telling you I had "manic depression", which is not true. :) The reason you say it is not your siddhi supernatural powers, but the simple fact you read my popular post on Netlorn about how I cured my mild depression by simply sitting zazen. -

The absolute nature of the One Mind of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas is Omniscience (all knowing), Omnipotence (all powerful), Omnificence (all animative) and Omnipresence (always present as such/Tathata). This Mind is your true nature. Once you come to know it and identify fully with it (anuttarasamhyaksambodhi) you have access to all knowledge, known and unknown; you have access to an infinite power (Bodhi) for which nothing is impossible; you have access to the limitless creativity of the Mahabodhisattvas, Brahmas and Devas. Only Mara makes you believe in less by poisoning your spirit at any given moment you forget about this Mind and believe in the artificial illusion and desires arised as Samsara.

Omniscience, Omnipotence , Omnificence and Omnipresence. All these attributes are present within you at all times in their potential but non-actualized form. Together they are often referred to as the countless functions of your Buddha-nature.

Thus it is not strange that all great philosophers in ancient times, all Chan Masters (bodhisattvas) and Buddhas asked of their students but one single thing; It is up to them to know and act upon their own true nature (eg. awaken to and cultivate complete oneness with this pure Buddha Mind).

The inscription on the Ancient Greek Temple of Apollo at Delphi left no room for misunderstanding: "Know thyself and thou shalt know all the mysteries of the gods and the universe".

It is through the distinctive power (prajna) of this pure Mind, your enlightened self, that resides as such beyond the confines of your limiting skandhas, can gradually learn to fully align itself with the true body/substance of the One Mind at all times.

This process, in its entirety, is an unexplainable mystery to the mortal, but nirvana to the immortal (arhats) living in the radiant presence of this marvellous Lotus flower.

"Sansiddhah wrote; My personal advice to newcomers is simple, 100% controversial and against all schools of Buddhism probably: take LSD or DMT or psilocin/psilocybin. You can't get more "cataphatic" than by suggesting chemicals, can you."

This is a very confused mind and in clear dissonant opposition with its true nature which is one reason we see this prevalent oppositional defiant disorder, amongst many other, rage in him. I could say much much more. like about past and coming phases of manic depressive attacks and other nasty things, but the best thing to say about this poor soul - soon to meet a very sticky end - is; "I rest my case, your honor".

I am in total shock, disbelief and dismay in reading this garbage. Shakyamuni Buddha would NEVER advocate the use of hallucinogens—his awakening was clearly no acid trip! I’m reminded of a poor soul who took LSD back in the late ‘70’s—he saw “God in a cloud” and STILL SEES GOD IN A CLOUD TODAY AND NOTHING ELSE IN AN INSTITUTION! You may be fortunate so far in this taking this fiendish substance—but you’re truly playing Russian roulette with your mind. Am also not impressed with your reference to that weird Rinzai creep—where the hell is your mind today?!!! You have brought nothing but disgrace and dishonor to your name with this rubbish—for this is certainly an “immature”and reprehensible post.
