The Zennist: Apple's new patent goes beyond this world

Well, it looks like Apple Inc. did it again. It is another paradigm shift and one that the late Dr. Timothy Leary of LSD fame would be proud of. Apple's new patents includes an advanced sensor strip (Pat. 7.552.021A), shown below.

While wearing this wireless strip over the so-called "third eye" where the pineal gland is located, the iPhone generates a special signal which has been found by Apple researchers to increase by a factor of 10 the pineal gland's ability to produce DMT (Dimethyltryptamine).

Just in case you are clueless about DMT, well hold on to your socks. DMT is the active ingredient in plants such as Ayahuasca which is used in shamanic practices. It is also in Psilocybin and Psilocin and many other psychedelic mushrooms.

Users who have tried the strip with the iPhone or what some Apple researchers like to call the "third eye strip" report powerful hallucinations when the strip is activated. The iPhone program, itself, contains ten levels from moderate to the highest level being almost like an out of body experience (OBE). Participants who have gone to the tenth level report entering into a non-localized, non-corporeal, independent realm of existence. Some even report meeting beings of light who are expecting the participants.

Apple still has a lot of hurdles to contend with in getting the strip to market. However, it has the potential to dominate, if not eliminate the current illegal drug market. Steven Jobs was not available for comment. Happy April Fools' Day!
