Thank you for pointing this out. That is one of the reasons that the seeker of the true path to the top first get clarity of purpose by meditating on the patient endurance of the uncreate and non-attachment. When the sixth Patriarch was questioned about the dharma by the Emperor, his response was: "vast emptiness, and there is nothing sacred in it."
