You are an excellent writer and I read your blog often. But you are mistaken about the absolute. Leave the absolute to pantheists like Spinoza or Hegel, it has nothing to do with buddhism. Buddhism teaches dependent origination, everything is conditioned except nirvana. This is pretty clear in the Nikayas. Why introduce the absolute, a word used by western philosophers to sneak god into philosophy? The unconditioned in Buddhism is not the absolute, but nirvana
