How is what is said in the post a "position without a position"?

Except, you can't say what that experiential endeavor at the level beyond or behind phenomena is, so a position without a position doesn't cut the mustard.

I disagree. The post defines metaphysics as a speculative (theoretical) endeavor which remains at the level of phenomena, in contrast to Zen, which is an experiential endeavor at the level beyond or behind phenomena.

Seems as though the post is negating metaphysics in order to replace it with another metaphysics.
