The study in the post mentioned people who were growing older and comparatively richer, and asked them if they are happier now than they were when they were younger and poorer.....of course $ is no substitute for youth, but as one ages, perhaps one does need or at least can benefit from more $.

$ cannot compensate for the loss of youth, but try living without it.

Buddhism is very wise, but if the Dalai Lama has not yet overcome lust and other desires, how can we? How many lifetimes can it take?

Are you that stupid? which "Buddhologists" are you talking about? Of course, Oxycontin addicted redneck like yourself, like most right wingers, always make assumptions about any subject.....more like paranoia so to speak.

I, my dim witted son, am talking about the True Mind which preexists all phenomenon, including your "Buddhologists" buddies, LOL.....

Go back and thump your babble, son...ain't no body here can help alleviate your stupidity :)

All Buddhologists agree, that the Sagathavagga (SN1) is in the top 3 OLDEST pali buddhist texts.

And, of course, they mention the 5 Khandhas (skhandhas - Skt).

You lose, try again.

LOL, too much Oxycontin burnt through your brain?

Son, if you have investigated Buddhism (or at least, make an effort to avoid taking that crack) you would know that In early Buddhist teaching did not mention about the Skandhas!

The Buddha did not want to teach dumb fools like yourself in the beginning about the True Mind (he taught it to the gods instead at first) and I think your little brain, son, knows the reason why.

Two, Samsara is like a wave on surface of water. There is no reality in it then why bother looking for any worthwhile meaning in it.

You, my son, are begining to lose your bearings, LOL.....did you drop too much acid when you were young, LOL
