The blog author is essentially telling you that your present mind is like a hunter desiring to hunt black dogs in the night. Sooner or later suffering from such a hunt is inevitable. It is therefore a natural question to ask what happens if the hunter brings forth a lamp from his purse (which he forgotten due to the obsessive hunt)and discover his true self-nature. The pure consciousness before the idea and desire of the hunt and the desired dogs (targets of presumed satisfaction).

I am really interested in attaining what you describe as Nirvana (as described above). '...or we can go for the infinite state of consciousness'. I choose that one!
Any tips on how to get there? What do I need to pack? Got a map you can share? Thanks.
