Sorry, but the “action” does not explain or interpret the meaning of the koan.

Clyde: Here, interpretation is the action of explaining the meaning of koan. With kensho 見性, the koan is adequately explained.

Interpretation?! My understanding is that koans aren’t intended for interpretation or explanation or even understanding.
